How long do plans last?

Last updated October 14, 2026

Plans run from 7 days up to 90 days; the lengths on offer vary by destination. A plan ends when its time or its data runs out, whichever comes first. If your plan allows top-ups, a top-up adds both data and time; if not, a longer stay needs a new plan.

Activation is the moment your plan starts — when you first connect in your destination, or automatically 30 days after your eSIM is issued if you haven't connected by then. From there, every plan has two limits and ends when you hit either one.

Data limit

Each plan has a data allowance (1 GB, 10 GB, 50 GB…). When usage hits it, the plan stops providing data — your connection doesn't keep going at extra charges, it just stops.

Duration limit

Each plan has a maximum duration, from 7 days up to 90 days; the lengths on offer vary by destination. When that many days have elapsed since your plan started, the plan ends.

Whichever comes first

Buy a 10 GB / 30-day plan and burn 10 GB in 12 days — the plan ends there. Buy a 40 GB / 60-day plan and use 8 GB — it ends at 60 days, with the rest unused.

Topping up extends both

If your plan allows top-ups, a top-up adds both data and time to your active plan; larger top-ups add more days. If it doesn't, a longer stay needs a new plan.
